Simplex cables consist of a single core fiber with a tight buffer layer, aramid yarn and a PVC jacket; our single-mode cables are also manufactured from high-quality glass. In addition, we also offer single-mode and multi-mode versions of simplex fiber optic cables for indoor applications, typically used for unidirectional transmission between network equipment.
Indoor fully sealed single mode optical cable
For indoor installations, we offer single-mode 9/125 fiber optic cables that meet industry regulations and are available as fiber optic non-conductive PFOS, confirming that the product can be installed through airflow spaces. Our single core fibers are recommended for smoke and flame testing. In an emergency, our flame retardant jacket prevents this cable from spreading fire and toxic fumes throughout the building. Note that our indoor fiber optic cables are 2.0mm and 3.0mm in diameter.
Single-mode fiber optic cable indoor riser routing
For vertical cabling, wall-to-floor cabling applications, Croft offers simplex cables with single-mode indoor risers. This simplex cable meets industry specifications for fiber optic non-conductive risers and ensures safe wall-to-floor installation. Our simplex cables for indoor risers are also available in 2.0mm and 3.0mm diameter variations.
