As a device for patching signals and connecting optical circuits, the smaller the insertion loss, the smaller the attenuation caused, but the blind pursuit of high optical parameters requires that the material and process of the fiber jumper must be greatly improved, which requires high costs. The cost is not suitable for the price/performance ratio. In the design of the optical system, the design power of the light source will have a reserved amount, which is larger than the actual power. Through the optical attenuator, optical splitter and other devices, the power is reduced to the power value required for actual use. Therefore, the insertion loss of the optical fiber jumper that acts as a connection can meet the requirements of the carrier level.
