The front panel of the 110-type distribution frame is an RJ45 interface, and each interface has a number identification. 2. Straight-through distribution frame
The front and rear panels of the straight-through distribution frame are all RJ45 interfaces, and each interface is marked with a number on the panel. There are two sizes of patch panels currently on the market: 24 ports and 48 ports. In fact, the straight-through distribution frame is more convenient to use than the 110-line distribution frame. It can be used directly by plugging in the network cable, which is more suitable for high-density wiring requirements.
3. Electronic distribution frame
The use of the electronic distribution frame is the same as that of the straight-through distribution frame, which can be directly inserted into the network cable. The electronic distribution frame can analyze and form data through the detection line, which brings convenience to network maintenance personnel. There are two detection methods: port detection and link detection. The network cables used in different forms are different, which can be determined according to the equipment. Due to the high cost of electronic distribution frames, they are rarely used in current projects.
What are the connection methods of the distribution frame?
No matter what type of distribution frame, there are two connection methods, one is direct connection and the other is cross connection.
1. Direct connection
Direct connection (also known as interconnection) refers to connecting one end of a horizontal cable (network cable) to the distribution frame in the studio, and the other end to the distribution frame in the distribution room. Panels are usually RJ-45.
2. Cross-connect
The cross-connect method refers to installing two distribution frames in the horizontal link, connecting one end of the two distribution frames in the horizontal link through a network cable, and then connecting the other ends of the two distribution frames in the horizontal link through the network. connect them. cable. connect them. cable.
