Leather cable, also known as butterfly cable and figure-eight cable, is widely used in residential building access networks because of its softness and lightness. What problems should be paid attention to in the construction of leather cable?
Specifications for the construction of leather cable
1. Before laying home optical cables, the type of user's residential building, environmental conditions and the laying route of existing cables should be considered. At the same time, it is necessary to make a comprehensive judgment on the economy, safety, convenience of future maintenance and user satisfaction of construction .
2. The existing concealed pipes should be used as far as possible to lay the incoming optical cables. For residential buildings without concealed pipes or unavailable indoor pipes, it is advisable to lay butterfly-shaped incoming optical cables by laying corrugated pipes in the building.
3. For residential buildings with vertical wiring bridges, it is advisable to install corrugated pipes and floor crossing boxes in the bridges to pass through the butterfly-shaped lead-in optical cables. If there is no space to install corrugated pipes in the bridge frame, winding pipes should be used to wrap the butterfly-shaped lead-in optical cables laid inside to protect the optical cables.
4. Since the butterfly lead-in cable cannot be soaked in water for a long time, it is generally not suitable for laying directly in underground pipelines.
5. The minimum bending radius for laying the butterfly-shaped lead-in optical cable should comply with: it should not be less than 30mm during laying; it should not be less than 15mm after fixing.
6. Under normal circumstances, the traction force of the butterfly lead-in cable should not exceed 80% of the allowable tension of the cable; the instantaneous maximum traction force should not exceed 100% of the allowable tension of the cable, and the main traction force should be added to the strengthening member of the cable.
7. The cable reel should be used to carry the butterfly-shaped lead-in cable, and the cable tray should be used when laying the cable, so that the cable reel can rotate automatically to prevent the cable from being entangled.
8.During the laying of the optical cable, strict attention should be paid to the tensile strength and bending radius of the optical fiber to avoid the optical fiber from being entangled, twisted, damaged and stepped on.
